How to Setup Your Facebook Pixel

How to Setup Your Facebook Pixel

Need to set up your pixel in Facebook Ads? Here's how:
  1. Install the chrome extension Facebook Pixel Helper (free)
  2. Go into your FB account and go into Ads Manager
  3. In the top left, click Ads Manager for the pulldown menu and select Pixels
  4. If a pixel isn't there, click create Pixel and follow instructions
  5. Once the Pixel is created, depending on the platform you either need to place the entire Pixel Code in the Header of each page on the site or you just need to add in your Pixel ID
  6. Following along with the instructions within Ads Manager will help step by step depending on your situation.
  7. Once completed, check out your site and look at the FB Pixel Helper extension tool. If it’s lit up blue, the Pixel is good! If not, it is not reading a FB pixel on your site.
